This cluster is mostly comprised of small pagoda/mushroom shaped formations of calcite. Across the center of this show piece are four large sized calcite points with secondary growth, best shown in picture. The large formation on the right side, shown in picture, shows off the "red velvet," of the piece. The entire piece is tinted with a beautiful deep red from the hematite. Some of the hematite on the outside makes it appear like red velvet. On the back side of the piece there's very little clear calcite due to the amount of hematite inclusions and surface covering, giving it a very strong red color. This piece is pretty perfect.

Calcite is the stone of protection, allowing us to absorb in good energy and transform it into our thoughts. Calcite helps us break bad habits, with being able to motivate us to achieve our goals.
